Unfavorable Forecast and Wet Grounds Cancels NOW600 National Weekend at Sweet Springs
SWEET SPRINGS, Mo. (April 8, 2021) – Due to an unfavorable forecast and wet grounds at the Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, the return of the NOW600 Lucas Oil Micro Sprint National Championship will have to wait another time.
Well over two inches of rain has fallen non-stop in Sweet Springs, Missouri with the forecast calling for even more amounts of precipitation over the weekend.
Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex and Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series officials are working to see if a makeup date can be agreed upon.
Next up for the NOW600 Lucas Oil Micro Sprint National Championship presented by the Hi Plains Building Division will be Friday, April 30 at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas followed by Saturday, May 1 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells, Texas.
