Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex Sets 2023 Season Schedule

Sweet Springs MO. (1/1/23) Maintaining premier grassroots racing while building upon the foundations of previous seasons, Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex excitedly announces the 2023 season schedule chock-full of open-wheel excitement.

Spanning from April until October, Sweet Springs Missouri will see talents from all over converge on the one-eighth-mile factory of speed weekly with major events covering the yearly agenda including the Small Town Throwdown(6/30-7/2) as well as the Show-Me Showdown in Memory of Dean Hathman(10/12-10/14).

Doubling down on the yearly appearances, The Dirt2Media NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship will visit the friendly confines of Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex on two occasions in 2023. First kicking off the racing season on April 28-29, then again back for the Pete Frazier Memorial on September 1-2.

Joining in the traveling action to SSMC will see a single visit from the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets on May 21st for the John Hinck Championship along with a pair of racing weekends slated for the POWRi National Midget League in the Mid-State Nationals on May 5th.

Adding a slight twist to the familiar season championship chase, Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex will introduce a Mid-Season Points Championship in 2023. Sponsored by Dahmer Powertrain, SSMC will see the first eight races dictate a mid-season championship paying: 1. $500, 2. $300, 3. $200 in all six classes of competition.

Weekly racing divisions will continue to include Jr Sprints, Sportsman, A-Class, Stock Non-Wing, Restricted, and Community Bank Outlaw Non-Wing with several marquee events spanning the six-month season of racing entertainment.

Schedule subject to alteration with information relayed upon confirmation, continue to follow along online and on major social media platforms for future updates. Members must compete in ten races to be eligible for point funds; each driver's top thirteen-point nights will be counted. Season Points Championship Year-End Purse: $15,000. Champions Pay: $1,000.
