Waylon Phillips with a Clean Sweep at Sweet Springs
It was a perfect night in the Show-Me State for Missouri's own Waylon Phillips, sweeping his Saturday card at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Sweet Springs, Missouri, with victories in two different divisions. Phillips, who entered the Stock Non-Wing Micro as well as Outlaw Non-Wing Micro classes, conquered feature competition from the front row, starting from the pole in the Stock Non-Wing feature and outside-front row in the Outlaw Non-Wing feature. In fact, the evening was indeed perfect, concluding all preliminary action with back-to-back heat race victories.
Phillips will continue his 2025 season with a return visit to Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex on Saturday, August 23.
